The little company that I am working at right now has been growing... mainly with guys from India and Russia.

A couple of months ago they 'converted' a part of the warehouse into a work area. Cheap desks, no drop ceiling.. no real AC. No phone jacks etc... We were told originally that the area was to be used for the guys that do a lot of field work. Just so they had a place to sit temporarily when they were in the office.

Found out today that they are moving us out there instead, and placing the new foreign workers and field workers in our old spots.. in the office... told we are to be given cell phones (that cant leave the building) instead of desk phones and we have to rely on the wifi instead of wire ports to do our work.

Sounds like we are being replaced or phased out right? Nope these new guys don't do our work. It just seems they value them more.. lol

Its great to be a valued employee.

Unless you were planning on working there forever, things like this don't matter. Get what you need out of the job and move on.

True. Just wanted to vent and laugh a little bit about it.

Like the saying goes, "It is what it its."

We've been joking that we all need to go buy red staplers.
