I had a coworker who had dirt all over her office & loved hosting meetings. She was shabby and unkempt. Her clothes was usually covered in hair and dandruff. I don't think she has ever visited a hairdresser.
There was paper and dirt all over her office. Not dust...dirt. You could write her name on the telephone. The chairs were filthy. She was just a mess from top to bottom. It's one of those offices, where lighting a match would be much better than trying to clean it. This woman was a director on Wall Street and has been with the organization for years (maybe that's why she gets away with her nastiness). Thankfully, there was always the option of dialing-in because I refused to attend in person and tried my best to prevent her from coming to my office.
2. The ones who attend a meeting which requires input and sits there mute but has a lot to say when you're returning to the office.
wearing light clothing every day, complaining that it's cold in the office, and then turning on personal space heaters and sweating the rest of us out.
AMEN to that!!!!!!!!
Not only complaining of the cold, but putting in repeated requests to the bldg. management to turn up the heat.
the ones that are on your same level and who think they are in charge. not sure what exactly is going thru their head but the behavior is that they are the extended voice of the our boss.
this type is further frustrating when they leave a trail of mistakes- but plenty of notes about what mistakes we have made and how we gotta "be more careful and stop messing up". and the final straw is when the note is " pointing out a mistake" that was in fact not human error AND already handled per SOP- days ago.
