Aside from a regular 9-5, what would be some interesting gigs you would do if you could? Somehow I have this idea of sailing or working on a cruise ship for a bit. Not sure what I would do though haha. Or maybe bartending in another country if I knew how. Peace Corps sounds interesting but being broke for two years does not. If I was younger I may enlist in the military but I wouldn't do that now. Teaching English in another country is one a lot of people do for a bit. It never appealed to me unfortunately.

Any other interesting non traditional job ideas that appeal to you?

I'd like to be the person who oils up bikini models before photo shoots.

I wish I had done the Peace Corps thing when I was young. A much older cousin did it and her photos and memories are priceless

I'd like to run or at least work on an animal sanctuary -- exotic animals

What's stopping you from doing it now?

Speaking as a retired 71 year old man....

I have fought in a war, sailed across an ocean, flown sailplanes, been an auto mechanic, visited 49 states, visited 19 foreign countries, been an award winning salesman, driven 18 wheelers, been a home inspector, been a licensed home builder, and I recently built my first computer...

But really, I'd like to winter-over in a cabin in the far north.

Okay, this isn't "what would you do if you had all the money in the world". This is more like what would you do if you could realistically speaking. If you guys haven't figured out I'm looking for new exciting ideas.

I love the history Channel series "Forged in Fire" - if i could, I would make knives.

If i was younger and unattached, I would work on cruise ship. I'd be happy being one of those guys that just walk around maintaining the crisp look of the ship. I think it would be a hoot!

I'd like to own my own cafe and be open for breakfast, tea and lunch. It would have a New Orleans motif but be located in my current residential state.
