Upping my Game via ( podcasts, books etc) (job, business, office)

So starting a new job after a short absence from the work force and not much real life experience prior to the sabbatical. Looking for some ways to improve my business acumen, in any shape or form. Feel little ignorant in office bantor not knowing all the terms and philosophy on sales running office etc. Yes, will come with time and experience but nothing wrong with shortening the learning curve... Right?
