I need some career advise. I am only in an entry level IT job, and I would like to change that. I have read several articles online, but thought I'd poke your brain. Please advise how I can progress my career based on my credentials: two year college credits toward my bachelors in IT, three years entry-level IT experience, no certifications.

I plan on finishing my bachelors degree part-time while working at my current job. I am also thinking of getting certificates. Which certs should I aim for? My IT major is towards systems/security.

It is "advice" not "advise." And yes, for those of us who look at resumes, how you spell is very important. I don't know anything about your field, so that is all I have to offer for when you get to the resume stage.

If you want to move towards the easiest technical job to break $80k+/yr, you could move on to reporting and analytics. Take a Microsoft SQL class and attend some local SQL meetings.

I transitioned from a MS Access job to SQL reporting with 1 cert. I had no degree, no connections, but I had a cert.

How can someone with 3 yrs experience in a field not know which certifications are important? Ask your colleagues, join your local IT based career groups, etc. Reading articles online and asking on this forum isn't really the best place for information onto greasing your career.
