I know there's been these types of threads before, but does anyone have any good practical NON SCAM websites/methods of work from home type stuff that would yield JUST 500-1500 a month? That's all I'd really need to subsist and I'm sick of the drudgery and drama of the manual labor I've had to do to survive these past years, looking for a better solution. I know about Amazon mechanical turk (after hours of investment I earned a whopping $6), the call center type crap where you have to cold call people and you don't really make anything if you don't get people to buy your BS, the herbalife diet supplement pyramid scheme type stuff, and the abyss of a gamble/shot in the dark that is Google Ad sense, isn't there some data entry or research or SOMETHING a literate person with decent computer skills can do to simply CONSISTENTLY generate 500-1500 dollars worth of income a month, in the grand scheme of things it really isn't much money but would make a world of difference to me. I can't really afford to go back to school at this time, is there any solution out there?

Child care is your answer. Most people pay 20-30 bucks a day at least. Do that for 4-5 kids, over a month you have at least 3000 bucks a month (before small expenses like food and whatnot)

I know of a few legitimate work at home jobs. They are generally phone/computer work. Mainly customer service and very little sales. The pay ranges from about $9.00-$13.00 per hour and most will have 40 hours a week.

Convergys: http://www.convergys.com/company/careers/

Kelly Services: http://www.kellyworkathome.com/epris...ages/home.html

Apple Computer: http://www.apple.com/jobs/us/aha.html

The only thing is these companies usually hire quarterly. So you may not hear back for a month or so if you apply. Just be patient!!

You may want to try http://www.flexjobs.com. I haven't personally used it to find a job, but I have purchased a month's subscription just to check it out. It seemed to have a variety of good positions in various fields.

My sister's roommate work for Kaiser Permanente Hospital from home as a customer service rep. in CA. She has everything set up in her home and all she does is provide customer service and transfer customers over to various dept or nurses, etc. when she needs to.

If you don't mind cold calling, you can look for a local insurance agents in your town and work out a deal with them on providing new business for them. They should be able to buy lists of prospects for you to call on a daily basis. For every client who is willing to talk to the agent, you get X amount of pay.

My suggestion is to try and land a workplace job that could hypothetically be completed at home and slowly work on convincing your employer to let you work from home. 4 days at work, 1 day at home... then try to wriggle that up to 4 days at home, 1 in the office etc.

Petting sitting is a good field to get into. The pet industry is a multi BILLION dollar a year industry. Very easy to get into especially if you love cats/dogs/midgets. Get a good domain name and do the whole social networking thing to spread the word.

To a lot of families, pets are like children to them, as it should be.
