I'm a college student who is geting close to graduation.
I've been looking at various fields and I've seen some interesting
jobs in the insurance industry. I've recently become interested in underwriting.
the problem I don't know anyone who works in this field so everything I know about
underwriting is based on what I've read. I would like some
insider advice on this job. Here's what I want to know,

1 Is underwriting a good for someone with good research
skills?
2 What is the hiring process like for an insurance company? Are
there any secret or hiring practices.
3 What is the stress level for underwriters.
4 Is a Business or Finance degree an absolute requirement?
This is a big question because Im a liberal arts major and I've been
seeing a lot of mixed and somewhat unclear responses to this question.
