Employment advice needed please (job openings, applying, application, applications)

I've been out of work for 5 years now. I've been losing weight but I'm 360 pounds and I still have back problems that make it hard for me to do a job where i'm on my feet longer than 3 hrs. I used to work in a call center doing technical support 10 years ago so i was hoping for another job like that. A call center environment. I dont care if its just customer service and pays very little i just want to get something, anything, i dont care how little it pays. Ive been submiting resume's and getting no reply back for a couple weeks now. Is there any other keywords I can search for or jobs where i can sit? Like at a desk or something? I live in the Los Angeles area.

You are not alone in not being able to find work. Maybe try/research some 'work from home' type things, or try volunteering a bit and see if that may open up some networking options. Best to you - it is just a difficult time for many, unfortunately.

Don't get too caught up in not receiving feedback because not all posted job openings are real. So you can be applying to fake jobs. Also trying to focus on jobs that only require you to email or fax a resume rather than completing a pointless online application.

It would be more helpful if you'd stop giving bad information which countless posters have told you many times over is bad information. You seem to have a bit of an obsession with "fake jobs".

Online applications aren't "pointless" and are the more common process these days. Emails come second and the 'fax machine is going the way of the dodo ...
