I honestly don't want to work.

I don't like waking up whenever, I don't like having to be somewhere by whenever, I don't like the pressures of performing, I don't like the obligation...

I don't know what I want to do, in order to produce something meaningful, I'm still trying to figure that out...how to make my life count for something...hopefully, I'll find out eventually...but I'm in no rush, really.

In the meantime, I'm starving. I'm homeless. I'm worse than broke...

But I'm not going to be running around doing something for other people just so I can be worthy of food, clothes and shelter...

So, I don't know, I need advice I guess.

I'm not going to the State to ask for help....other people who are in situations out of their control need those resources more...(ie, I have the ability to find a job, pay rent, get food...I just make the conscious decision not to, necessarily, instead, I do what I want to do, and hopefully those things take care of themselves.) They don't.

The system left to us by the elder generation is so completely backwards that I'm not going to pretend like it isn't anymore, for any sake, and if that leads to my death by starvation, then so be it.

Moderator cut: clip

(Just so that my life, when it ends, didn't mean absolutely nothing...here is this: All things, but especially energy, are either linear or circular. The easy solution to a decrease in net energy consumption (and thus an increase in total energy available, and a decrease in the scarcity of that resource) is to focus on it's circular quality.)

(Easy example that I'm sure has been thought of millions of times by now....there is no reason why, absolutely, that the energy process of the car is linear. I'm not sure why it still is, but the fact that it is is causing millions of people to suffer at the hands of agencies that need to somehow meet their fuel needs. Until that aspect of the system is being adressed by those who actually have the power or influence to cause 'change', they are the problem. Anyone who goes along with those people also contributes to that problem..)

Start your own business, and you can work however and whenever you want.

Not easy, but rewarding if you're passionate about it.

And exactly what type of business is this homeless person with no skills, money or ambition supposed to start up and run?

You have illustrated the problem with a large percentage of Americans. You're lazy, unambitious, and contribute nothing to society. I despise people like you; can't stand it when people have no ambition to improve their own situation and would rather be a cement block shackled to the ankles of society.

You'd rather be homeless than working for someone to earn a wage? Obviously you have mental issues. Get some help for that man.

The system left to you?? Sorry, you aren't entitled to one damn thing! You want it? Earn it! You don't deserve a thing, and you seem to be content with going nowhere and doing nothing. Seems you can use a computer and whine about not being taken care of.

To be honest, I'm pretty lazy myself, but I don't want to be poor and rely on others so I do what I have to do. It does suck working for the "man" no doubt about it. That's why I save and invest my money heavily and wisely so in a few years, I will no longer have to work and get up at 6:30.
