Would you work 13 1/3 hours a day three days a week? (jobs, pay)

A medical facility near me offered jobs that would give you a full time schedule but you only worked 3 days a week. But you worked 13 1/3 hours a day. Would you like that schedule and if so would you try to get a second job for the other days now that you are free four days a week?
I would not do that myself because I am dead tired after 8 hours.

Not sure. the 2 days off is appealing though. But I feel like I would be so tired from the long shifts that I would just want to sleep the rest of the week.
I currently work overnight 12.5 hour shifts 3 times per week. One week out the month I work 4 shifts to make 13 shifts per month. I often end up staying up to an hour late at times for charting or emergencies. I have also worked 8 hour evening and 8 hour day shift. For me the best was 8 hour day shift 7-3pm and the worst is the 12.5 nights. I like the extra pay and having less bosses but it takes its toll physically. It's almost impossible to get a decent rest during the day and the extra days off are spent recuperating. Maybe if it was during the day it would be better? The day shift nurses don't seem any happier to me and they make less money and have administration and more MDs to deal with. I don't think there are too many hospitals that offer eight hour shifts anymore. The jobs I had with eight hour shifts were SNF and clinic jobs which tend to pay less. I'm so tired from working nights I'm taking the pay cut and going back to clinic soon. Being part of a code at 4am when I'm exhausted and not my most mentally sharp is not for me anymore.
I have worked 8 hour shifts 5 days a week and 12 hour shifts 3 days a week as a CNA in a medical facility. I prefer the 8 hour shifts. When you spend 12 hrs in a place, 3 days in a row you start to feel like you live there and you can get burnt out pretty quick. Working with patients attitude is everything and if you are tired and sick of being there you won't be giving your best to the people that need it the most.

3 12's (on the clock) plus the unpaid break periods = the 13.3 hrs per day.
Three days on with four days off every week... usually in a row.
40 hours of pay & benefits for 36 hours worked and with (2:5) 40% less commuting hassle.
I think it would depend also if you were scheduled two days in a row to do these shifts. Seems like you'd come home, mostly sleep, then it would be time to get up and go to work again.
I'd agree you'd probably be more tired on your days off.

It works very well for many.
It can work if you are allowed to schedule in that way. What happens at my job is they never give you more than 3 days off. I have to do 2 on then 2 off then back for 3 and 3 off etc. I have it good though. Sometimes my manager feels spiteful and does craziness like 1 on 3 off then every other day.
I forgot to add. I'm paid for exactly the hours I work with one hour taken for the lunch I rarely get to have. 34.5 hours for three weeks and 46 hours straight pay one week out of the month. You have a better deal than I do.
I would be all for working 13 and 1/3 hours, 3 days a week.
When I do work a 8 hour shift, it takes up so much of my day that I am left not feeling like I have enough time to do much of anything, so I would be all for it.
