Hello,
I've been working at an ad agency for two years now and have come to hate what I do. I am responsible for tedious data entry or weekly reporting. I work with a lot of numbers and it's mentally exhausting.
However, on occasion I get to work on planning for media campaigns. I like participating in brainstorming sessions with colleagues, researching and thinking strategically. I think I am great at looking at items from different perspectives and without bias, so I can create good ideas. I'd like to do more of this, but the problem is me being able to sell my ideas. I'm not a very charismatic person and I'm a horrible presenter. I know people are going to tell me that I can work on this, but I really have no interest in doing so. Really what I am looking for is "behind the scenes" work. I want to build plans and let others present them.
Any advice on where I should look? Or am I completely hopeless?
