Third world countries do not pay slave worker wages ! ! !

Their economy and cost of living is much lower there than in The USA.

Their companies pay enough money to attract employees,
who want to work, and have more money.

They are not slave to the jobs, and they can quit anytime they want.

Everone of those people are working jobs, and making more money
than before they had the jobs, or even those who came off of farms,
and did not earn, or make as much as they do now.

On the farms they could only make enough to barely feed
and take care of themselves. Now they make more
money, and feed the whole family.

An over-simplification of a complex trade and socio-economic issue. You forget to mention the child labor, the slums they live in, the exposure to dangers of manufacturing, to include various types of pollution and contaminated waste byproducts, etc., etc. U.S companies manufacture products in third world countries because it enables them to maximizie their profits. Period.

What you said has nothing to do with the topic
or what most Americans call slave wage workers in third world countries.

They are not slave workers, and they
do not receive slave wages.

Third world countries are doing exactly what the USA did back years ago,
Child labor, pollution, waste, slums, and then they did better,
which it not what the topic is about ... yours idea is another topic altogether ! ! !

You are correct--they are not slaves in that they are owned by other people. Other than that, you do not have any grasp of the topic at hand. Good day.

Correct. Every nation evolves, and it takes many generations. Just 50 years ago, Pittsburgh was almost not visible in photos due to smog. Cleveland's river caught fire. Stratford, Ct was dug up, in dozens of spots less than 20 years ago, as Raybestos had loaded it up with asbestos..the same issue that drove Manville bankrupt.

Precisely. The US corporations pay less money, can dispose of waste cheaply (in the river, drinking water etc.), and don't have to treat the workers like humans. These leads to higher profits, which is all they care about.

If you've seen the caged-in prison-factories in which iSlaves live, the term "slave" is about the only word that comes to mind. I wonder if they are even allowed to quit their job, or does that earn them a bullet in the head? If not, than they are truly slaves.

As for the lower cost of living, so what? That doesn't balance out the 3rd world slum existence, nor does it justify the destruction of our economic base... Geez... how many trolls do we need with a "love the corporations" agenda?

Geez, what is it with stooges trolling these boards?

Not realizing every nation takes baby steps up the economic ladder, and Chinese mfg employees are the envy of their friends and families still working rice paddies.

Oh I forgot, the "Doom and gloom" trolls have an agenda that must be promoted at all costs.

Hey, I don't see any answers from the corporate lovers other than "get rid of all regulations" (you know, like we did for the Housing Bubble, because that worked out so well), or "increase incentives for business in this nation." As if having record profits and record cash-on-hand (as well as virtual ownership of all of the government) is not enough of an incentive... but even THAT won't get them to hire Americans, and that's why we're pissed. We NEED JOBS - real JOBS! Instead, all we get are tired excuses for why, suddenly, 15% to 20% of the nation is "unemployable" even as the corporations rake in the money like never before. Sorry, but demanding accountability and the right to work for a living wage is a perfectly reasonable agenda, IMHO - and really, as an American, you should be supporting your fellow countrymen vs. faceless corporations who'd toss you out in the street in a heartbeat if they felt like it.
