Hello everyone,
I have a interesting question.
I have a full time job.
I applied and was hired for a 2nd and what suppose to be part-time(Maybe On call) weekend job. No Benefits (Didnt really need them)
During my initial interview I was told that it was only a Saturday - Sunday Job. I was told what my duties would be.
I went through the hold hiring process. Physical, Drug Test, Paper work etc.
I showed up to the pre orientation day. The company gives a tour of the building, bosses talk, I met a few coworkers. They claim I will get paid for it.
Then I went to my department to finish up paperwork, get my ID etc.
I got a little bit of training, I find that all my duties have changed, or they have added duties. The schedule that my manager( the person who interviewed me) gives me is borderline full time.
Plus to finish it I start tomorrow, 2 weeks before, she told me I would start when I first interviewed.(she claimed I will be starting the 23rd.)
There is NO chance I will quit my current job.
My question is, If I quit this new job before I actually start, doing my duties, (Before my first actually working day) will it show up on a background report, will a future employer know about it? Could I just keep it off my Resume? Or would the employer find out anyway?

It doesn't need to go on a resume and I wouldn't worry about the day's pay. It is not something that is going to appear on a typical background check. You are currently working full time and this is just an extra income job that turned out not to be as promised. I wouldn't worry about it.
It will only show up if you report this employer(?) on a credit application. Don't list it on your resume and don't use it to apply for credit and you should be fine.
Yes, it happened to my spouse, but it is nothing to worry about.
