So I went to a couple of interviews for a position I really wanted a couple of weeks ago. It's an Assistant position for the President of one of the departments of a very large corporation. I didn't get the job .
A couple of days ago I get an email from him telling me he's been thinking about me and wants to meet.
I'm not interested in dating him, and honestly, it pisses me off that he's even trying to ask me out, because it makes me wonder if that was the reason I didn't get the job??? He knew he wouldn't be able to even try to date me if he was my boss. I've never had that happen to me before, so I was curious if any of you have similar stories...? What do you all think?

That's pretty tacky of the manager and it does beg the question of why you did not receive a job offer. I'm not sure what else you can do at this point except for respectfully declining the date (keep it professional). As frustrating as this whole ordeal is, I would just forget this place as it does not sound like the type of boss you'd want to work for anyways.
I thought about it too, but I'm still trying to get a job at that company (it's a huge and very well-known company and I've already interviewed for a few positions there), so I don't want to completely kill my chances there. But I'm keeping the emails. Although I'm not really the type of person to do something like that anyway...

I would send that email to their HR dept. He needs to be set straight.
What he did was very inappropriate. It's not going to get you a job there, but it will make you feel better.
I'm thinking that way. I'm sure you're not the only one who receive that kind of email or invitation from him. He really needs to be abstain.
