Hi! My family and I (husband, 5 year, 18 month) are relocating to Black mountain in 2 weeks from Shelby. I am trying to find apartment complexes or inexpensive houses to rent in the area, but am not having a whole lot of luck. The phone book and online searches really only show Asheville area. I have looked at the IWANNA and Black Mountain newspapers, but am hoping for other suggestions. Can anyone tell me the name of some places, that I could perhaps look up in the white pages? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

try the black mountain newspaper....blackmountainnews.com or mountainx.com. It's expensive there.

any luck with your housing search? it's new year's eve, so you surely must be in black mountain by now. i'm just starting my search. found a few churches where the people are nice, and willing to help look. God's way Baptist Church on Bee Tree Road, and Swannanoa Valley Missionary BC on Lytle Cove Road
