Thinking of moving to Asheville...Looking for outdoor activities AND cultural amenities? (neighborhoods)

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to relocate to a town that, well...has it all. I'm an outdoor enthusiast who also enjoys great food and a thriving art and music scene, etc. Basically, I'd like to find a culturally vibrant community with plenty of recreational opportunities. It seems like Asheville might fit the bill, and I'd love to get your thoughts. Any suggestions for particular neighborhoods to look at?

Sounds like Asheville is your town! I don't know what your price range is but North Asheville is nice, and South Asheville.
There is plenty to do here with the parkway and mountains.

Lots of outdoor stuff within a short drive. Area wise, it doesn't matter, you'll be driving.
