I have looked on the internet for job opportunities in Franklin, but I am not having much success. My husband visited Franklin a couple of years ago on a business trip and fell in love with the area. How do the folks up in Franklin feel about people invading their beautiful town? My husband and I have 4 children(17,10,7 & 2). It appears that the area is family friendly, is that correct? I have never been to Franklin but hope to visit soon. I understand it has alot of part time residents and people who come for vacation. I'm quite used to that living in Florida. I have lived in FL since I was 6 years old, but I think I am almost ready for a change.

I can't believe no one responded to your inquiry. I will now even though this is old and you may not even still want the feedback. Franklin is a great place to live and raise a family. Probably are not too many places left were you can feel so safe for your children. Hard to find a mean, nasty person. If you are basically a nice human being you will fit right in. From what I have been told it is easy to find work in the medical field, especially in nursing. However, the local hospital has a reputation of being very low paying. Better paying nursing positions can be found in surrounding towns which would require a drive of about 30 minutes or so. Very few people ever move away after living here for a short while.
Hey ...... for all I know you are already here!
