It appears Ingle's Markets #58, 1678 Brown Avenue, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786-4980, located in the Hazelwood area in the Town of Waynesville, will be undergoing expansion in the future. ("Bid on Ingles Supermarket Store No. 58 (Waynesville, NC)." Construction Data Company.) A construction timetable has not been determined at this time. The expansion may be a complete rebuild.

Ingle's #58 will be expanding from 36,492 square feet to 72,111 square feet. Its expansion will include the addition of a pharmacy with a drive thru and an Ingle's Gas Express.

Ingle's #58 will be closing soon for its rebuild. Associates will relocate to other store locations while the new store 58 is built. The existing store 58, which opened in 1984, will be demolished. The new store 58 is projected to be built within nine months.

Ingle's #58's rebuild must be progressing quickly. Ingle's Pharmacy #58's pharmacy permit was issued by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy two weeks ago. The issuance of the pharmacy permit could indicate the pharmacy and the store could open within several weeks.
I am unaware of a projected opening date for the new Ingle's #58.

Ingle's Markets moved quickly with Ingle's #58 by closing and tearing down Ingle's #58 Mark I and building Ingle's #58 Mark II within eight months. That is a good turnaround with other rebuilds coming up.

The manager at the one on Russ Ave told us it will open mid December.
