We recently heard about a very bad car accident involving a woman on Highway Route 64 in Brevard, NC. She totaled her car. Was taken to the hospital. It happened on Dec. 1st, 2014. I believe she was driving a silver Ford Taurus. Her car was thrown into trees off a cliff and they had to cut down trees etc. If anyone knows where the article to this accident is, or any information, would you please post the link here or IM it to me? We live a long ways away and aren't able to get any information and we fear that we may know the family involved.

Thank you kindly,
Yolanda

Yolanda:

I was tied up in traffic that day and was told the reason was a car accident on Rt. 64 ahead of me, so I turned around and went home another way. Here are some contacts for you (Sorry, but I don't have any information on the accident). The accident could have been in either county as Rt. 64 is a very long road in and out of both counties. I hope this helps.

Thanks again so much,

You can look up an accident report on the Highway Patrol website here, under collision information:

https://www.ncdps.gov/Index2.cfm?a=000003,000014,002745

I think I see the accident you're talking about. If you don't find it, post back and I'll DM you. Just felt funny to put the full link out here.

That is why I put the phone numbers there. Thankfully you have the information. Hope everything works out well for the lady that got hurt. I understand it was a pretty bad accident, she is very fortunate.

Good to know she's going to be okay. Sounds like a really bad one.
