Amazing what a little punctuation can do, huh?

I went out yesterday looking for color. Drove all the way to Mt. Mitchell. This was the best I found. We are still a week away or so, I think.

Yea they are saying we aren't suppose to peak until mid october. So at least another week for high elevations, and two here.

Like the play on topics though!

I went south on the Parkway this past weekend from Asheville . . . up past Pisgah and to Graveyard Fields before heading up Hwy 215 back to I-40. Graveyard Fields was beautiful!! As if someone had painted the trees various shades of red, yellow, orange, etc.

Also the drive into and out of Biltmore Estate is starting to get very pretty
(I am an annual passholder) and down around the bass pond, the trees lining the pond are just gorgeous!

Guy - If you are going to Graveyard Fields - you don't want to miss the very short paved hike (albeit straight up) to the Devil's Court House - the views are amazing up there - well worth the upward climb! Have fun - I'm jealous!!
