So I noticed that Westchester has little or none of these type of fitness sections. The only park I seen so far that has pull up bars and some workout apparatus is Tibbets Park. Otherwise, you go to New Rochelle, White Plains, Yonkers, Portchester, other towns and cities etc, etc, etc. There's nothing. Nothing that I've seen at least.
I think there's more than enough room, more than enough space for a lot of these parks to install these workout areas. I think it'll be greatly beneficial to many of the Westchester communities.
I bring this up because when I go to the boroughs, I can easily find so many of these "calisthenic/adult parks" since they are so littered throughout NYC.
What do you guys think? Should we get some of these set ups in Westchester?

The Town of Cortlandt literally has a work out trail with about 20 pieces of fitness equipment on a loop a little under a mile. The trail itself is invigorating, but the equipment is fantastic. I agree there should be more, but progressive towns spend money on recreation and fitness like this. Call you local town/city and ask them to do it.
Ossining has them at Louis Engel Waterfront Park (by the spray pad) and Buck Johnson Park
Really? I got to check it out.

Actually, I did E-mail some people who have the power to make this happen in Westchester County. They did get back to me and say they are going to work on it. May take them 1000 years but oh well. I may have to get some people to back me on this.
