The treasonous government would love to impose martial law and watch the slaughter and chaos. From chaos comes order. Take a look at your dollar bill. As for Americans, a few would fight back, but most are conditioned to cower in fear and wait for FEMA to rescue them. Few understand that FEMA is designed to protect the President and the shadow government, only 10% of its funding is put towards disaster/emergency relief. Remember, you have to protect the speech reader/President just in case the sheeple wake up and realize that just maybe the corruption comes from the visible top. Unfortunately the real decision makers, the Bildeberg Group held a meeting in Ottawa, Canada on June 8.2009

If you think health care is expensive now... just wait until it is free.

By the time the morons we have put in office get finished giving it away
to every freeloader who ever roamed the earth, including illegal aliens
and all their relatives, our grandchildren, who will be suffering from the
socialistic rationing of health care services, will still be in debt paying
for it. What's worse, you will have worked hard all your life to earn
great coverage only to find yourself on the lowest priority to receive
them.

Of course, the elitist politicos will make sure they aren't bound by the
same conditions as us peasants.

Two things are perfectly clear...

1. Our elected nincompoops are elitists.

2. Their intentions for us has nothing to do with our own choosing.

Thoughts on this email which was sent by Obama to supporters today?

Since govt info is public record, I believe an email from the President follows the exceptions of copyright of govt publications so the following is OK.

Quote:
This is the moment our movement was built for.

For one month, the fight for health insurance reform leaves the backrooms of Washington, D.C., and returns to communities across America. ...... the voices they hear will not belong to lobbyists, but to people like you.

Home is where we're strongest. ......And if you're willing to step up once again, that's exactly where we're going to win this historic campaign for the guaranteed, affordable health insurance that every American deserves.

There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform. They are filling the airwaves and the internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change. And some people, not surprisingly, are getting pretty nervous. So we've got to get out there, fight lies with truth, and set the record straight.

That's why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you're counting on them to act.

But these canvasses, town halls, and gatherings only make a difference if you turn up to knock on doors, share your views, and show your support. So here's what I need from you: .........

So yes, fixing this crisis will not be easy. Our opponents will attack us every day for daring to try. It will require time, and hard work, and there will be days when we don't know if we have anything more to give. But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between doing what's easy, and doing what's right.

This is one of those times. And moments like this are what this movement was built for. So, are you ready?

Please commit now to taking at least one action in your community this month to build support for health insurance reform:

Let's seize this moment and win this historic victory for our economy, our health and our families.

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

Today, President Obama sent out a message to supporters asking them to get involved in the fight for health insurance reform this month:

Movement? Our Movement? Was built for what?

Whatever happened to public servants elected to do the will of the people?
I hope we can find a few while they are on this 2 month public-paid recess.

Am I wrong in wanting to ask children or young people not yet of voting age...

Will you be up to paying for this 3 Trillion dollar debt? (for an unproven/failed idea of medical change?

I'm thinking about writing Michelle Bachmann a thank you for speaking up about the organized crime pretending to be a government, and hint she should immigrate . . here.

Hussein (via mass e-mail) is asking people to show up at community events regarding the healthcare shamnesty, but when they do, they are threatened with arrest, physically assaulted, barred from the event, and the bought-and-sold speakers end up walking out looking like stiffs, not to mention, then being smeared by the government and mass media.

Maybe Hussein should've added : Yay's only need attend, or else . .

One man who said he was injured and intended to file a police complaint, Randy Arthur of Oldsmar, was outside the meeting room with his wife, Kathy Arthur, when organizers tried to close the doors. She [Mrs. Oldsmar] said he was slammed against a wall. He later talked to police officers, his knit shirt ripped and a few scratches visible on his chest.

Democrat event organizers slammed one senior citizen into the wall as he and his wife tried to enter. The couple were opposed to Obamacare and made it known.

I think insurance companies are spending far too much money in advertising---especially on medication you need to have a doctor to prescribe! Think of the savings if some of that money were going to benefit poor people. Too much greed is involved (Greedy CEO, greedy lawyers, greedy health care executives, etc),which is one reason healthcare needs to be fixed somehow. I am probably in the minority, but healthcare for all LEGAL American citizens should be a right!

Anybody see the Obama Joker Poster? Scary and sends a message. I want one for the art collection on my office wall.

In Wv, when I was a kid, the miners only had a few pics on their walls, Jesus, John L. Lewis, JFK....this Obama poster could be the new addition, but a hero in reverse...call it a Nero!

maybe someone will post it here...I'm late this morning.

Great post.

Telling my age, but I remember when company provided health coverage was NOT a mandate/requirement. It was a "bonus" which companies offered to employees - it sweetened the pot to lure employees, etc.

Then people got the attitude that it was their right to have company paid health insurance. As rates have gone up and people have to help pay for their coverage, they scream louder and louder.

You are right, people now think it is their right for the govt to take care of their health insurance.

Does there need to be a change in health coverage so people, especially young adults, can afford to at least have catastrophic coverage - yes.

My vote goes to looking at tort reform as a starting place.
