it's been a little over 25 years since i attended wv tech, but it seems to me that the bottom right picture is along the kanawha somewhere slightly south of montgomery, wv. i've been there before, but the name of the area escapes me at the moment.

Kanawha River - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"On the southern edge of Glen Ferris lies the Kanawha Falls public access fishing area that provides the best ground-level view of the Kanawha Falls on the west side of the river. Immediately to the north of the fishing area is the Glen Ferris Hydroelectric station, which formerly produced the electricity to power the village and the coal mine."

Lovin,
Gorgeous pix.
Did you stop at the little gas station and take the pix of Middle Mountain across the road from the gas station?

The gas station was not far from me but I remember I saw the view and pulled over. I think I was near Middle Mtn Rd.

A sight for sore eyes... the first snow I'd seen in 29 years. It was a new experience for my 9 year old pomeranian.http://www.flickr.com/photos/21027364@N07/2228498765/ (broken link)
