Does anyone know what area of Pt Pleasant the Hydrogen plant is expected to be located? I know there is a lot of land north of town between PP and Mason. Or will this go south between Henderson and Apple Grove like the Nucor plant?
The hydrogen plant is being met with opposition from about 17 (I think that is the number I saw this morning) climate organizations so I anticipate a long time before anything happens on that.
If the big opposition to the hydrogen plant is waste CO2, then WV needs to get an industrial gas company like Linde, Matheson, Air products etc to take the CO2 by product and use it as feedstock, purify it and clean it up and then sell it as liquid CO2 because there is a national CO2 shortage.
It's a win win for everyone.
