So far I've seen about 3 or 4 comments this past week in The Journal - Junction regarding a drone noise. We live off Rt 9 and hear it as well. Has anyone been able to track the source? Some days it's more annoying than others. I wonder if The Journal has ever done a poll on how many are affected by this. I may have missed seeing it even though I attempted a search.

Maybe planes from the Air National Guard? I know they frequently circle the airport for training purposes. I was at The Commons last night and one flew over pretty low.

I would describe the sound as a drone, with a high pitched whistle-like sound.

I'm sure if that were the case, I'd have heard the drone noise more than for just a year.
