A couple of people have told me that there is a "dollar theater" somewhere in Palm Beach County that shows second run movies. Neither person could remember its name nor exactly where it is located. I looked online and in the Palm Beach Post, but I couldn't find the theater.

Does anyone know the name of this theater and its location?

Thanks.

There USED to be (maybe still is), what I thought was a "cheap theater" in Gardens, in the old Loehman's Plaza on PGA just east of 95 ..... might be worth a call to see if it's still open.

The Movies of Lake Worth, on Lake Worth Road, really far West, used to show second-runs but it now shows first-run movies. The price is still cheaper than a new, big theater because it is old and small. The price for seniors is pretty cheap from what I remember. The theater is really old and worn (especially the bathrooms) but it is nice and quiet with no long lines.

The movie complex off of PGA and RCA is closed, it may reopen since it closes and reopens often but the entire shopping center is empty so I doubt it.

Wellington has two low cost movie theaters but they are not $1 for admission. I think Silver Screen is $5 admission and they serve food.

Reel World is has lower priced matinees but nothing under $5.

Thanks for your responses. I know and like The Movies of Lake Worth, especially the theater that has all the couches instead of seats. I'll look into the other places you suggested.
