Hubby and I are coming down to FL to visit our two sons. One lives in Deerfield Beach and one lives in West Palm Beach.

Are there any restaurants that will be open and serving on Christmas Day?

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Vicki

If you can afford it, it will be incrediable. If you can't; check the hotels, as hotels have guests, their restaurants are open on holidays as others may not be. Marriott's - Embassy Suites normally have very nice restaurants and I would expect that they would do something special for the holiday.

You would have to call and ask. I know that the sunday brunch runs around 90.00 pp. It is marvelous, something for everyone.

Not as fancy we have been to Chinese on Christmas. I think some Jewish delis are open not sure how festive that is for Christmas though.

There use to be a wonderful deli / market in Boca just off Glades Rd. named King's Deli. Awh the food was absolutely ingrediable. They had it all, sandwiches, ready to cook foods; grocery items, everything was fresh and luscious. Unfortunately they are no longer there.

Whole Foods and Carmine's also has a wonderful selection of prepared and semi-prepared foods. Unsure if they are open today.

Carmine's is on the corner of PGA Blvd. & Prosperity Farms Rd. in Palm Beach Gardens. They do prepare full meals for holidays like Thanksgiving, but I believe you have order in advance.

Enjoy your holiday everyone.

I've actually eaten at Breakers Hotel. My former neighbor took me there around New Years. Tremendous high quality and classy buffet.

Smile Great meal, good food

Maggiano's in Boca Raton

We have eaten there on Thanksgiving - they do such an awesome job. You can get family style there also.

The Breakers is very expensive and a bit too stuffy for my personal taste. There are usually a few Asian restaurants open on Christmas. A third option is getting dishes already made from Whole Foods, a deli or any restaurant the day before Christmas that you can enjoy on Christmas Day.
