Hello all,

I don't have dental insurance and may need some work done, at the least I need an exam and cleaning. Can anyone recommend a very affordable dentist in or near west Boca? Maybe one that takes payment plans?

Thanks!

You might want to look into Nova University School of Dentistry in Ft Lauderdale. Do a search; that's how I found them. I haven't researched reviews of it. Looks like demand for services is very high and they have a weird system where they treat patients in chairs side by side (I don't know if they have screens between them, sounds like they don't), and they apparently won't do minor fillings, etc. but sounds like their treatment, supervised by faculty, is fine, if requiring more visits than a private dentist would. I have not been to them, but have been to several dental schools in Boston (Tufts, BU, and Harvard) and have had excellent work done for savings of literally many thousands of dollars.

If you need something complicated done, you might want to look into Nova.

Also...try "The Affordable Dental Center of Wellington". Wife and I go there. She is picky and is absolutely pleased with this small team.

Steven J Bussell DMD
9884 Southern Blvd. (just East of US 441/State Road 7 on southern)
West Palm Beach, Fl. 33411
561.422.1020

Got to love PBC. Location is Wellington, mailing address is County and the Zip is Royal Palm Beach.

The wife got a few quotes for a lot of work. She liked him best, and his price was fair for the amount of work.

chilove, you're welcome. If you try that, let us know how it works out.
And gregm, I want to thank you for your recommendation; I need a dentist and his practice is nearby. Might try that. (Can't do Nova because I just need basics (also, I'm not so thrilled about that open-room dentistry possibility!)
