Hi, looking for one at approximately this value, and without it being age restricted to 55 years old. I realize that there is still a downpayment but I was wondering if that is the policy for all rental communities, and there are some without putting in a giant security deposit?

Do you happen to know if some rental apartment communities don't do the "security" deposit procedure? I can do it but I have to save a bit more which sucks.

doubtful. You now cannot even offer to pay 6 months or m ore up front. They all want paystubs current, showing 30 x rent or similar. 2 or 3 months in advance and high credit score. Why? Because they can. They have more people wanting to rent than their supply. Not gonna change, supply n demand.

We are still in a beautiful place in Lake Worth Beach, large apartment, 2 bedrooms, $1,750 monthly, free electric and water and sewer with our own private carport and super excellent neighbors that are all quiet.
Absolutely no drawbacks at all! I will expect a rent increase next year but it will be reasonable, as I have spoken to some neighbors.
It's awesome!
