I am planning a family reunion for May 2015 with my cousins and we went to have it on the beach.
I am not from West Palm Beach and I haven't found much info online about beaches that allow bonfire (optional), alcohol, outside food, and loud music. Also all people at that beach during late hours.. my family likes to party pretty late.
Soo if anyone could list a few that do allow these things or at least a few of them?

The only beach in PBC that I know of that allows fires is Juno Beach. However, they only allow it during non-turtle nesting periods. So that pretty much gives you Nov - Feb only. Plus they hiked the fee up to a ridiculous amount for non-residents. It is either $200 or $300, I can't remember which. It is still free for residents of Juno. I know alcohol is allowed for those over age, but I'm not sure about the loud music. They ask you to keep it from getting out of control and the police will probably visit you at least once to check on you.

Besides that I don't think any PBC park on the beach allows a fire or a "late night" party.

Agreed
Unfortunately, people abused the beaches and now they're pretty strict.
(Not to mention you don't want some drunk dummy thinking it's a good idea to swim in the ocean after dark.)
best of luck!

Hi, not so interested in beach fires, but do require fun beaches with music, bar close by. Looking for a place to buy within walking distance to beaches, eateries, grocery, if possible. Currently in Venice, it is too quiet for me. Please advise and compare the two cities, or any other FL to buy nice condo in fun area.

Thanks

Lake Worth or Delray. Lake Worth really truly is being redeveloped and is on the upswing. A group called Hudson Holdings is buying up lots of stuff. They partnered with Carl deSantis and bought the Gulfstream Hotel and that is a big deal. It's cheaper than Delray .

I agree Lake Worth or Delray, Lake Worth though will be a farther walk to the beach from where the nightlife, cafe's and shops are though. It will be close to a 1 mile walk as that bridge is long there. Delray has lots of places in the middle of the action and only blocks to the beach . Another option would be city place or clematis area of west palm

You are right about that long bridge. it kind of hurts LW, imo.

I haven't been to the remodeled casino though. I'd assume it's more of a daytime thing. What we do have is the pier, and that's pretty cool.

I have known several people who lived near the beach in Delray (from the first block in - a cool old house- to two or three blocks in) and they felt they didn't have much privacy due to all the people walking/driving by to go to the beach. It wasn't always that way!

The same issues happen in the downtown neighborhoods. A condo with a garage would probably not be a problem, but I know another group of folks who moved out of Bankers Row and southern Del-Ida because they were sick of getting blocked out of their own driveways.

Sit back and tune in a Frankie Avalon movie, those movie scenes and beer commercials look great, even in California that type of beach blanket bingo at night is hard to find. Most beaches are so regulated and zoned now you may be out of luck

Fires of any kind or size are NOT allowed on or in Palm Beach County beaches and parks. . This activity is restricted under Palm Beach County Ordinance 2004-022, Section 6.

They used to have bonfires on LW beach but I think they were discontinued as per above post.
