Thanks but we're currently paying over $16,000 in property taxes for 1/2 acre of land and a 2,600 sq. ft. house( Am hoping we can do better than that!

It's great that your husband has a job now but considering the job economy is still very important in the event he was to lose his current job. Florida is suffering extremely as is Nevada with jobs so be sure to consider that as well. South Florida cost of living is not what many may be lead to believe. ;-)

Palm City is nice and great for families. Our son goes to one of the elementary schools. All of the schools are A rated and you will definitely pay less taxes. We pay about $4200 a year on a 4300+ sq ft home. Let me know if you have any questions about Palm City.

We are moving from CT to this area within the next few weeks as I am working in PSL. I have an 11 year old and have narrowed to the same towns based on the advice of family and friends who live in the area, as well as the time I spent recently. Would love to know what you have learned about particular communities as it may be beneficial to us as well.

We are mostly interested in Palm City and Jensen Beach (looking for good schools and less crowds... Our housing budget is about $330,000. Family owns a condo in Jensen Beach Club (so we know we love that area)...

We just moved down from Long Island. We researched for 3 years before coming and narrowed our selves down to Wellington, Jupiter or Boca Raton because they have the best schools. Boca is not for us. Afterall we just left the Northern Boca . Jupiter and Wellington are both very family friendly, low crime and beautiful areas. Wellington looked most like home to me and had alot. The nightlife is slim but with little ones that wasn't a concern as nice dinners out is enough for me. I'm not a clubber anymore Good luck.

We moved from New York city and are in Palm beach Gardens. Very beautiful- this area has a lot to offer. Happy with the schools (public) so far, and the location.
