Hi everyone, moving to the Boca area by mid July. Have lousy credit, but have $$, need a place to rent! Not too familiar with area, was considering Pompano, Boynton, or Delray. Maybe even Coral Springs. Anyway, due to my credit hard to get into apt complex, but been in touch with these rental agents from places like "Highlight Realty" and especially "Florida's Best Realtors" these seem to be ppl operating from their cell phones, they claim they can get me a nice rental if I pay 3 months up front despite credit. Anyone ever hear of these guys? Or is this some kind of scam? If it's legit, could be what I am looking for. Is it true the more west you are the safer the areas? Anyone familiar with the intersection of Boynton Beach Blvd & S Military Trail? Found some nice apts there. Thanks.

All PRIVATE residences require 3 months up front regardless of credit...I would call the apartment complex's yourself even with bad credit the deposits are no where near what a private residence would be...what are u looking to spend? Never heard of either one of those realty companies...I would go with a reputable one like Boca executives or Lang Realty or even Coldwell Banker...You dont pay a fee to them for a rental the owner/Managment company does...

Good luck
