We have had great weather since May and we will have constant great weather until the beginning of October, so I don't know what you are talking about
I think they must be under the impression that Seattle is wet and rainy all year. I'd love to have your "typical" summers. One of the best in the country!
This heat wave you are having is unbelievable. Currently in the Fort Worth, TX area it is 85 degrees. It's like Seattle and Texas decided to make some kind of trade.

Yup. It got up to 104 at my house (near Seatac Airport) yesterday. At 10:30 pm last night we had weather conditions (temp, wind, humidity) virtually identical to Tucson - except that in Seattle it was 1 degree warmer.

I post a lot on the Arizona board (where I intend to retire) and put up a post there about "Arizona in the Northwest" regarding our heat of the last couple of days. I'm going go ahead and link to this page so folks can see your image for themselves.
FYI - I REALLY like wunderground.com. For 5 years there was one of their weatherstations operating not far from my land down there and it's great to have all that data online to review and help determine the weather we can expect in our neighborhood once we retire.
