Gorgeous! Nice, cool temps most of the time, low humidities all month, a few nice, warm days inbetween. Late September got quite chilly, about 10 degrees below average on several occasions. I didnt have to run the A/C one single time since mid August. Rock on! lol

Low high: 63F on the 1st
High low: 63F on the 9th
Low: 47F on the 1st, 2nd, and 23rd
Temps of 80F+: 19 (most since 2001)
Lows below 50F: 6

Precip: 0.31 inches (23% of average) (least since 2001)
Max 24 hours: 0.93 inches (August 31 - September 1; only 0.14 inches of that occurred in September)
Days of precip: 5
Days of t-storms: 2

Peak wind: 38mph on the 1st
Peak gust: 44mph on the 1st

Sunshine was 84% of possible, above the September average of 81%. It averages out to 10.4 hours per day of sun. There were 25 clear days and 5 partly cloudy days.

It was a boring and dull month. There was a good early Fall storm from August 31 - September 1, but the rest of the month saw only 4 more days of rain, and barely any. It was very cool the first week and the last 2 weeks were ridiculously above average and dry. Dull, dull, dull.

What sort of weather do you like?? I'm guessing you're into a variation of weather?

This September is one most people in Houston will remember. It started off normal, just plain hot weather, then yikes, we got Ike! Then had an unusual cool front for a few days, then back to the hot weather again.
