High here was 106F and at Phoenix Sky Harbor it was 108F.



Good chance of seeing more storms here







High back in Chicagoland was only 77F IKK but Midway made it to 88F and ORD 86F. Must have been storms around




A good deal of rain came down



Storms firing up by the Wisconsin border and heading ssoutheast




Look what the Euro was showing last week coast to coart heat for the 6-10 day period.




Yet the MJO is moving into Phase 2 which contradicts what the model shows. It's a cool signal




Now look at the latest GFS run. Models can't see cold Lol



Euro saying the heat comes back in the 8-15 day but look at Arizona with the monsoons coming. Much cooler than it has been

Weather Channel overhypes the heat. Yes it will be hot but 100 degree heat index isn't anything out of the ordinary
