We received .98 inches of rain through yesterday afternoon and into the night. It hadn’t rained in a week, so we needed it. The weather forecast for the next 10 days is looking much cooler than it has been recently.

Another kink in the upper levels with rain 83 miles northwest of me offshore. Would love to see some super charged upper level energy and get torn apart with some heavy rain and bad weather. Apr may come thru again as the wettest month of the year like last Apr. Apr has seen above normal rain the last few years.

major chill coming and will be sticking around for a while

and after a wet weekend here it looks as if this incoming cold spell will dry us out over the next 2 weeks

Lots of snow still yet to come for the interior west and Great Plains according to the Euro

MJO will be in Phase 7 so it typically brings colder than normal temps for a good chunk CONUS for this time of year

PNA will be positive until at least the end of April so that also promotes cool weather for the eastern 2/3rds of the country

EPO tanking negative is a strong indicator for cool weather here, but then recovers

GFS is in agreement with the Euro. Generally cool to very cool conditions here for the foreseeable future

^^^^

People on here are probably wondering why I still care about Indy even though I don’t live there anymore lol, I still track the weather patterns there because there are people I know like work colleagues who still live there.

I can't believe you moved. I'm gonna miss your observations from there.
