No High Pressure to the north. Look for it. Not there. This could of been worse for New England and a big snowstorm for Southern New England including NJ and NYC.

For now, watch the winds and the storm too tight to the coast. Needs to be 200 miles more off shore. Oh well.

Surface and 2500' level too warm with wind off Ocean.

As always a great video by Bernie.

What happens when the Jet Stream pushes against cold air.
What happens when you get vertical lift in the atmosphere. THUMP. THUMP.

He talks about wet bulb temps (temp & dewpoint Avg)

Laurel Highlands and Allegheny front is going to get pounded. Seven Springs in southwestern Pennsylvania is supposed to get 12 to 18" now from this storm. Sadly, here in Pittsburgh were looking at an "eh" 1 to 3".

I forgot about the Ski resorts in PA. And I noticed PA could be getting more snow than CT now. lol (1-3)

Western PAs terrain makes for some very difficult snow forecasting lol. The river valleys always have half the snow the hills around do. The mountains of Westmoreland, Fayette, and Somerset Countit's average 125"+ of snow a year. And North of interstate 80 in western PA is in the snowbelt of Lake Erie. Always a gamble and never know exactly what we will get til it's over haha.

Where I'm at (Hills) Well probably get 2 or 3", but at the ski resorts they'll most likely get a foot.

See it? Pacific moisture coming into the picture. You can see the polar Jet stream diving down as well.

Where they meet, they blow up a storm.
