I want to try Japanese Japanese food one day. I bought matcha (green tea) powder and I have been experimenting a lot with it, I made green tea rice pudding a couple of days ago

Do you eat a lot of Cajun food living in LA?

Yeah I eat Cajun food pretty regularly. I eat boudin and dirty rice often. Also gumbo during the cooler months.

I have some French heritage (not technically Cajun since my ancestors came straight from France to Louisiana). My grandmother grew up speaking French.

Went for bike ride today, sunny skies and low 60s.

UV of 5 was still enough to get a bit of a tan. (Can you tell where I had my elbow wrapped?)

I have Malaysian and Chinese restaurants about 50m away from my house, really strange as my suburb is quite quiet and you wouldn't expect there to be a commercial area. Both are quite good, only been to the Malaysian once though.

Awesome. It's delicious. Once in a while I make gumbo that comes in a box, but I'm the only one in my family who eats it.

My brother's dog got bitten by an Adder this morning when out walking. Poor bugger should be OK though.

The fields near my house are full of them. Maybe I'll go try and get some photos of them. There's grass snakes too, but they tend to quickly escape when you get close. Adder's stand their ground.
