Didn't drop below 60° here. And yeah, another cloudy morning/day it seems. Warm front today. Cold front tomorrow. We are still under the Jet Stream.

NWS NY

WITH JET STREAM JUST NORTH OF THE REGION AND A ZONAL FLOW IN THE
MID LEVELS...THE STEERING FLOW WILL PUSH FEATURES MORE TO THE
EAST...ALLOWING FOR A WARM FRONT TO LIKEWISE MOVE FARTHER
EASTWARD. IT DOES NOT MAKE MUCH NORTHWARD PROGRESS THROUGH THE DAY
AS HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE GRADUALLY SLIDES OFF THE COAST OF
NEW ENGLAND.

Current Jet Stream position

i dreamt that I woke up at night looked outside the window and the ground was covered in snow and then I opened the window and it was warm outside then I asked what is that and i was told it was hail and ironically when I really did wake up there had been storms around the area that produced hail. anyways very warm tonight it was tonight many places on the coast didn't drop below 80 here in Raleigh I believe the low was 76.

Current look at the Upper Atmospheric Flow/Jet Stream.

You have a Vortex over Hudson Bay. A cold 532DAM with flow from the Arctic. A Hot & Dry 592DAM over the Southeast. Then the Jet Stream located in the middle with a zonal flow from the Pacific Ocean all the way across.

Tropical Storm Bills clouds feeding into the Jet Stream coming across the Ohio Valley.

Typical summer look. Only during cold months we get that true dips & peaks in the Jet stream that go deep south or north. You can see that dip happening in Canada right now north of Lake Superior.

Past 6 days didn't fall below 70° here. I see the official minimum this morning was 69, very brief.

Was anything but typical last summer. Those north winds you see over Canada were the dominant feature in Kentucky.

Another day that's cool and cloudy enough for me to enjoy my lunch in the privacy of my car. In mid June. Love it

Cloudy and breezy today. A little bit of rain earlier. Feels too springy outside.
