Usually it's a sign of what's to come here when I see your posts but not this time. Setup wasn't right for us here to get that airmass. Happened too far West and just will moderate and get weak before here.

Forecast high today 78 under clear skies...one word....ahhh....
Smart move going there 1st. Although it is 62 in Syracuse. 74 here. Just another warm sticky morning.
I only had 1 night in the 50s since mid July and it was only 58 for like an hour before the sun came up. lol

That's what we had for most of the first half of August — most mornings in the below 60°F. First half of the month was maybe a degree below average, there were scattered hot days. Though a low humidity early August would mean a cool second half of August. Oops. Last five days have been enough to make the month above normal.
Woke up to 70°F and steady, though not heavy rain. Look what happened to us when the Bermuda High moved in:
August last year didn't start out cool but had a cool mid-month period
Also.. should point out.. track of storm (and a strong one mind you) was also key in pushing up the warm, humid air into the East
What's the frontal map look like now?

Remember, a storm tracking to the Great Lakes is horrible if you want snow in the East.
LOL, not something I'm thinking about right now, rather far away. Care more about what setup doesn't create a long period of rain or long periods of hot, sticky weather.

And I thought it was pretty pleasant. Just goes to show how cheated the coast is out of truly pleasant temperatures even in summer...ugh. I want that 49 I see in PA.
