I explained this..the typhoons not recurving over the Pacific allows a ridge to build and strengthen across the U.S. Simple as that.

But...

One of them might recurve...but maybe too far west though

Latest GFS for HotLanta. All I'm looking at is the 500HGT (DM) column. Lots of 588+ days. damn dam for them
Lots of 30C+ days

Accuweather is either not picking up the typhoon teleconections or they are and are seeing the heat dome build in the Plains but not stretching far enough into the Midwest
