That's all you got today? We're 70 here, after being 30 at sun up time (8 am). Great day to take a nice, long walk - like half the city did...lol. Had shorts on of course, but I was amazed how many people still had jackets and sweat tops, etc.

Looking forward to the wet week ahead - it's supposed to be a rainy month, and we need to keep those soil moisture levels high so it doesn't get too hot later in spring.

I think for the first time of the year, Paris was warmer than Nice. 20/0°C today there (big range!) vs 16/8°C here.

today the temp here hit 73! spring is here without a doubt. everyone was outside some mowing their lawn, putting fertilizers, planting, or doing work in their garage. we got some spring cleaning done today. this whole week will be warm but very rainy! I love warm temps with rain. more and more trees blooming and more and more that haven't bloomed are budding. hard to believe how much the weather has changed these past 2 weeks. just 2 weeks ago we had finished enduring one of the coldest Februaries ever now we have a 7 day forecast of 60s and 70s crazy how quickly the weather changes in the east coast.

Tallinn reached 11,8°C today and Tartu 12,2°C. Both are all time record highs from when measurements began in 1887.

The normal high for this time of year would be around the freezing point and early March usually has the thickest snow cover. This winter there really hasn't been any snow at all and it's nearly T-shirt weather. Nope, not surprised. I'm looking forward to the year-round comfort weather we should be reaching within the decade at this pace.

That's something I always liked there. The first warmish say in spring. Here in Nice any sunny winter day can feel like that and early spring is slow to warm up, so there's less of that. Last year we got a little warmer, cracking the 70°F mark on March 9:

It's 14% humidity in Atlanta!

I wouldn't enjoy walking in such revolting conditions. We reached 51F as a high so far today.

And also to avoid what is mentioned above. Whatever brings the highest dewpoints is what I hope for especially once summer begins.

Now, this is more like it. Still a mild and pleasant temperature but just 9F dewpoint depression. That's why St. Augustine is my favorite climate.

But high soil moisture levels = High humidity in summer.
