Subtropical highland variety seems the most suitable one.

Here's my ideal climate. All temperatures in Fahrenheit.

WINTER: Temperature no lower than 25 degrees, snow no more than 2 inches per day, preferably at night when I don't have to drive in it unless the date is December 25th.

SPRING: Average high of 60, no higher than 72, no lower than 50, rain only at night averaging one inch per week and preferably happening all on one or two nights. Average climate "partly cloudy" or "sunny".

SUMMER: Average high of 66, no higher than 74, no lower than 50, rain only at night averaging one inch per week, preferably happening all on one or two nights. Average climate "partly cloudy" or "sunny".

FALL: Average high of 60, no higher than 72, no lower than 50 until about mid-October and then it can start getting down into the 40's overnight. Rain only at night averaging one inch per week (all on one or two nights) until the leaves start falling, and then it should drop to averaging less than 1/8 inch per day (so that leaves can be raked up while dry, you know). Average climate "partly cloudy" or "sunny".

What can I say - my body does not tolerate heat well, I drive over 4,000 miles per month (mostly during the day) and as such would prefer not to be driving in rain or snow, and unusually cold temperatures can wreak havoc on houses, cars, you name it. During the day I want to be able to work outside if such is necessary - cutting the grass, weeding the garden, raking leaves, etc - and rain during the day makes that impossible.

My dream climate is unchanged:
This is pretty darn close to Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan.

And guess which were the inspirations for my dream climate? Windsor, Ontario and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

A tad warmer in spring and autumn in mine, but otherwise pretty much spot on.

Thanks. I am quite proud of my guess. I was thinking of Toronto but its winters are a bit colder than your dream climate. It also gets more snow on average.

Rate my unnamed fictional climate

I've tried to make a weatherbox but whenever I copy and paste it, it always ends up jumbled like it did in that forum.
