It's subtropical because the warmest month barely exceeds 72°F(21°C) for an average temp.

Miami doesn't have a high diurnal range, so it wouldn't make sense if I were to say high diurnal ranges are a requirement for subtropical climates. I was kind of saying the high diurnal makes it "not oceanic" more than subtropical. I wouldn't really say it's subtropical myself to be honest.
Miami has a tropical climate not subtropical.

Classic subtropical due to the extraordinary diurnal range in winter and the sultry, stable summers. Also at a subtropical latitude (though marginally at that).

Those sunshine hours are fake, as are the humidity and dew points. 'Weather-atlas' is NOT a reputable source as it does not have any actual data from the site itself. Yet another wikibox I've had to edit out ToyStatistics' blatant vandalism.
