A "shameful 39?"

Our day is starting out quite well. It's 29 with a windchill of 20 which is well above average. The forecast says we're supposed to top out at 38 today with snow flurries later in the day.

We actually hit 55 degrees yesterday!!! That's very isolated and well above average, but I'll take it.

Well isn't this interesting.

February has indeed brought the first snow for some time. Snow showers on and off as well as occaisonal sleet. Bitterly cold easterly winds!

Temperature: 2.3c/36.2f

At this temperature the flakes were big and moist and melted on any hard surfaces.

Update: Temperature dropped to -0.8c/30.5 in one of the snow showers.
