Richard, I'm glad to see your weather is improving a bit. You don't get as cold of temps as I do, but your reports show that it's often gloomy and chilly there. That's one good thing about here~we have a lot of sunny days.
It's actually a very beautiful 34 degrees here. The wind is calm and I think that's why. We still have a few birds around here and they're chirping away. We're hitting a couple days (Yesterday and today) of unseasonably warm temps so that's always good. Warmer then 34 is nice, but it's actually not a bad temp when you have no winds.
ILNC, unfortunately I probably won't get to live in Houston even though I like your weather. We know two different couples who were just there recently. Of course, I hunted them down for trip reports. LOL SO many positives like your warm weather, good shopping, friendly people, etc. But the population and the traffic kind of shocks people from here. Please don't take it as an insult~we're population 17,000 so it's just overwhelming for people like me.
