Hey dxi, how are you? Had any good thunderstorms lately?
I'm good . We had one awesome storm yesterday....it had gusts of 50+ mph, and it was raining sideways, felt like I was in a hurricane.....but it was at 3 in the morning, so I didn't appreciate being woken up early. lol

Any rain in Houston?
Oh yea, I don't like being woke up by storms either. We had a sprinkle today, but tomorrow and Thurs we're supposed to get a lot of rain and we really need rain, since Ike, there has been very little. We have a cool front coming this weekend!
That's good that you're getting rain . Probably keep things cool...
I think that cool front that you're having this weekend is the same one we're getting here early next week.....supposed to be in the mid-60s next Monday .
I just hope the Gulf dosen't kill the cold front like it always does.....especially earlier in the season (Oct, Nov) seems like the Gulf is still warm enough in those months to weaken any cool fronts that come our way
I wish you could take all this humidity with you jammmie, but this isn't October weather for me. 2 more days until the cold front and counting, until then it's:
Fair
Feels Like:78°
Barometer:29.96 in and falling
Humidity:87%
Visibility:10 mi
Dewpoint:71°
Wind:ESE 5 mph

I knew I forgot something, Mcallen isn't as big as Houston, it has a pop of 120,000, but Mission five miles west has a pop of 45,000.

J96, I wish I could have some of that humidity, too. It's still ok here, but definitely not my favorite type of weather.
HMMM, now that's the type of population I'd be comfy with. Even 120,000 would be ok. There are actually things I'd love to see in Houston, but it'd be a bit overwhelming for me. We've been to a few large cities and it's kinda scary when you're not used to it.
It's 39 right now/windchill is 32. Humidity is 85% and dewpoint is 32%. Now if this was January, it'd work for me.
