central Minnesota 46 ,cloudy

forecasting a high of 60 with some rain later today.

Since I am used to winter snowfalls that stay, I can't believe how fast that snow is disappearing. Saturday the driveway was blocked with 52 inch drifts-----today 90% of the fields and pastures are bare.

Maybe I wouldn't hate snow so much if it was like courteous house guests that left after 3 days. ---

Danny, at least you're not sending the snow over here this time.

Our expected high for today was 57, but it's noon and it's already 59. Pleasant surprise.

Yesterday we reached 77 degrees. That's 19 degrees above average. Our record high was set in 1898 and that was 88 degrees. Our record low was set in 1962 and that was 20 degrees.

56!! Yea, what a beautiful day it was today here. Snow is melting very fast now and it is getting better and better. Still have a couple of feet of snow in the yard, but it is dropping fast now. Tomorrow is going to be mid to upper 60's and sunny. Looks like Spring is here in full force now. I actually saw some flowers poking up through the ground today in a sheltered spot. Very nice to see! Grass that is exposed and out from under the blanket of snow in plowed area is turning green again so it looks so nice with a bit of color coming back.

You still have snow on the ground? Where do you live?
