cleared up to an absolutely gorgeous autumn day - nice clear skies and high 70's at 3:00PM.

The following forecast was NEVER seen in February, despite the fact that its traditionally the hottest month (although the last 3 out 4 febs were so crap that both December and March were warmer, and in 2005 even April was warmer than Feb.)

Melbourne Forecast

Sat ..... 58 / 90 ..... fine
Sun ..... 66 / 95 ..... fine
Mon .... 70 / 95 ..... fine
Tue ..... 61 / 80 ..... fine
Wed .... 61 / 86 ..... fine
Thu ..... 63 / 90 ..... fine
Fri ...... 72 / 100 .... fine

I wish I could see snow less than once every 20 years.

We've had maybe 20 snowfalls this winter and I've spent at least 50-60 hours this winter clearing snow off our cars, driveway, deck etc.

Ya, you know you're in the Northwoods when the lows are colder than -20F in March Areas north of you around Longville had lows between -20F to -25F the other day.

Wow, this is a wild day in Weather World. They've already had a few tornadoes in Fla. and they and Ga., and the Carolinas are in for severe storms today. AND it's snowing in Tulsa.

I don't know my exact temp here right now, but at 7 am it was -5 with a windchill of -17. It IS warming up though.

Sunny again this morning, around 28 degrees. Supposed to get a little snow tonight, not sure how much though.
