Minnie, I was thinking about you today. I was watching a show on SDPB and they were touring Italy. I loved it by your coast with the mountains in the background.
We had a very nice day and we hit 60 degrees which is well above our avg. of 43 for the day. We didn't get close to our record~78 in 1935.
TWC mentioned the fact that Rapid City was much warmer then many Tx. cities today and they said they didn't figure the people in Tx. liked that. I don't agree with them cause I think many of you Texans are glad to get some cooler weather on occasion. I know I sure appreciated getting the warmth today.
Right now it's still 38/windchill 30 and it looks like the next two days will be exceptionally warm, too.

Since October 08, I'm about 8 inches below normal on the precipitation. Looks like our real winter has finally arrived...in time for spring. Just like last year.
